Runecrafting building
Suggestion: New building in City for Runecrafting. This building is unlocked at level 45.
Put 3 runes in, get back a random rune (at least) of the same star/dot quality as the average of the three runes which went in.
Put 5 runes in, get back a random rune of (at least) one higher quality (in stars or dots, at random) than the average of the five runes which went in, plus a random factor.
Put 7 runes in, get back a random rune of (at least) one higher quality in each stars and dots than the average of the seven runes which went in, plus a random factor.
If all runes match on their slot (upper left, lower center, etc), then the new rune will fit into that slot on the character sheet.
If all runes match on their shape (hera, zeus, etc), then the new rune will be of that shape.
If all runes match one stat (crit chance or basic attack speed, etc), then the new rune will have as its primary stat be the matching stat (or be one of the matching stats if there was more than one common among all runes).
Add a "try again" button which costs 25 gems to re-do the random creation of the rune (replacing the old one, not creating a second). This cost escalates just like refreshing ships/token shops, and resets once each day.
Adding this building will provide a use for all the garbage runes which come from Dwellers, and provide players with a way to ameliorate the randomness of runes, and the extreme infrequency of good ones. It will also take gold out of the economy, as the garbage runes which are currently sold off for gold will not be, increasing the likelihood that some players will buy gold with exediegetic currency (dollars, etc). Further, the "try again" button has a direct, increasing gem cost, which will directly monetize for the developer team.
