Hello everyone. I have been using Xing for about half of a year and I wanted to give everyone some insight into this champion and how I use him.
Xing is a tanky fighter who is able to gain a large amount of basic attack damage as he is struck. Every 10% of life that he loses he will gain a buff to his white stat of basic attack damage. If he is attacked for more than 10% and say he loses 20% life in one strike he will still only gain one stack of his attack buff. As a result it is best to build him in a way that he will never lose more than 20% life at a time to maximize the number of stacks he gets.
It is also important to mention that he has a relatively low amount of physical penetration which is a key stat for Xing because you want him to be able to capitalize on all of that gained basic attack damage. Knowing all of this I have found that the best way to stat him are to prioritize Basic Attack Speed, Critical Strike Chance, Physical Penetration and Health.
Health allows him to increase his total health pool so he does not lose more than 10% of his health in an attack. Critical Strike Chance & Damage allow him to deal a massive amount of damage when he gains attack damage from being attacked. Physical Penetration allows him to deal enough damage to tanks to shred through them while taking damage from the ranged dps behind a tank.
The best way to use Xing is to put him in front of the hero Rexenor. Rexenor gives lifesteal to Xing which allows him to replenish his health as it is lost and to continue to grow in basic attack damage. This is one of the strongest combinations in the game but it will only start paying off when the champion has enough of all of those stats.
For those unaware, Rexenor gives 1:1 lifesteal so it is important for this combo that you give Rex as much lifesteal as possible.
If more information is requested on Xing please let me know as this is my first guide and post. I would love the feedback.
