Don't forget his passive that he gains about 20% stackable attack damage every time an enemy falls. This makes him the king in pvp offense.

Even though you have chosen the best frame and icon... I have to disagree.  He used to be the king of campaigns and world boss.  Now he's not...

He hasn't been the king of pvp in a long time... the best teams in pvp have been magic based for a very long time and are more so now.

Keep in mind that he doesn't get 20% stacking attack damage anymore.  It only buffs based on his white stats... so it's more like 10% increase now.  Each stacking buff is another 10%... before it would just keep adding on top of each other making his base damage too high.  I wanted them to fix that... and they did.  They clearly went a lil too far though as this hero isn't trash... but isn't worth it either.

Here's another example for you... against the elite boss my Phaidon is doing more damage than my Hadrian.  Please also keep in mind that every time the elite boss used his skill he was debuffing Phaidon with a 40% attack speed debuff... since he does get the most number of buffs due to his Chione's mark.  Hadrian used his active skill 3 times in this battle... and still didn't do as much damage... It's just an example of how poorly they balanced this game from the last update when a common hero wrecks a legendary hero like this.

Hi, very nice analysis. I think BRIARUS is the king of boss :D, and HADRIAN used to be the king of arena.

Would it be more persuasive if you switch their runes (and buffs if any) and show the results?

Yeah Hadrian is definitely nerfed. Can't deny. My point is his passive still makes him the best offensive dps particularly most pvp defense teams are magical now.

All you need to do is to focus fire on one unit (just don't pick Astrid lol) and then watch the snowball effect :)

I don't disagree with you Apises.  Your'e right that he's going to get stronger as enemies go down... but you and I both know... that in PVP typically the first tank to die is the team that loses.  So you can certainly snowball a bit but you want to be able to kill that first tank fast and his passive doesn't help with that.

Alright so sometimes seeing is believing.  I did a vid of lvl 20 Dweller... and watch the stats at the end.

Shoutout - yes if I switch the runes there is a difference... but not massively which is kind of weird in itself.  I don't mind posting their stats if you guys think that will help.

Granted Phaidon is being boosted by Gadrus and Hadrian is being boosted by Mayar... so it's not a perfect comparison.  You would think though that a legendary hero like Hadrian with the best runes I can muster should still do more damage though... That's my opinion.  Perhaps the devs will look at this... and they'll just nerf phaidon and say "ok now everything is fine".

Hadrian used to be my pride & honor but time & again he was being nerfed too many times..

How can u continuously nerf a particular hero Time & again..

A lot of players had actually purchased him from hidden treasures & farm runes & max it with millions of gold to then find him not even comparable to a rare hero - Phaidon

    That’s very sad indeed..

I’m now mostly using a rare hero - Nyx most of my time.

I will continue to use him as I’m not sure if there will be more nerfing in future

So it seems that they lowered the base attack damage of Phaidon.  Guess that was their solution LOL.

So, is he no longer worth it? I just started the game and I was happy to get him.

What other heroes are worth to focus on instead of Hadrian?

You should be still happy to get him.

Those guys were comparing him with what he was before. He's still the best physical DPS IMO. Note you do need supportive heroes like Mayar, Gadrus, sphinx to maximize his potential. Otherwise he's not so much different from other dps heroes.

@future, I don't think Phaidon was changed at all.

    Ah. Good to know.

By looking at the forum I saw Hadrian and Ariane as S+ heroes. So I was glad to have him. Would it be better to focus on getting Ariana instead (save gems for her)?

Save the gems, but maybe not for Ariana. Work on other easier to get but great rare heroes such as Astrid from trial shop, and Nyx from arena shop.

I'm not implying he's a bad hero.  He's still the better physical dps for burst damage with his active skill... and burst damage is important.  In my opinion he's not clearly the best physical dps but that's just what I've observed.

@Apises the base attack damage dropped by about 1k.

Mine is still 17.1k unchanged. I remember that because it was the 2nd highest basic attack damage of all heroes, just below nyx.

I think I bought Hadrian with about 10k gems, not knowing his future fate would make tanks such as Astrid and Tethoros gloat right at his face as he fires rapidly (but no longer fearsomely) at them.

True, in terms of damage per second and mark’s synergy, Phaidon is the current game’s physical glass cannon. However, Hadrian’s other stats are far superior, suggesting that perhaps we could build him as a sustain-dps instead of a glass cannon and admire his new role from now on.
