    Thanks for reporting. After investigation, we have identified a random generator seed issue that causes some players to always get maximized sub stats when they upgrade runes. We have hotfixed the issues and new rune upgrade should become normal.

    Yeah new runes do seem to have better chance to generate better off stats.

    But it is unfair to us, during the previous patch, the rune reduction is suppose to be reduced by 20-30%.
    The new runes is even better than the previous patch before nerf. Instead the mini status is now on par to the main status.
    So the issue is whether Dev will allow us to reinstate our previous rune back to level 1 and refund our coins so we can invest in the new rune?

    Yes legendm, those new player who upgrade max mini stat.should also be adjusted like what they did to us before.

    Dev,
    If I heard you correctly, are you saying that those players who had earlier gotten those extreme good runes with max mini status will still remains?
    If that is so, these players will confirm to be the heavy hitters forever. There will be no way that old or new players to surpass them at all. If Dev is mindful of the financial issue, it will be the same chain reaction. Who will bother to invest further if even they invest they don’t even get to be at the top.
    And those already in the top which will be lasting, there’s no need for them to invest further.

    That’s my 2 cents thoughts.

    Others pls evaluate what I had said...

    Dev, what I had clarified above is based on yr statement that new runes will be back to normal. But u didn’t address the runes which already max out on all mini status.

    I have been complaining about poor rune generation for a long time. I have also noticed that the runes in the emporium red ship have been unusually strong since global launch. Before the global launch the runes in seige were also consistently better then those in emporium. To be honest if some players have gotten a strong advantage due to this the developers can either retro fix the runes awarded in this period or adjust the damage formula’s some more so runes won’t matter as much as tactics.

    I would still like a feature to build runes using the million items I have in my inventory.

    First, the previous glitch did not make a rune upgrade better than its possible outcomes. Say for each upgrade there are 4 possible outcomes from worst to best. The glitch would cause the upgrade to always produce the best outcome but it would be still within the range.

    Second, it was a system glitch and the players affected had no idea about it thus there was no exploit or cheating.

    As a result, there was no action taken against any affected players.

    A side note, there are very few top players affected by this glitch. In fact, among all players in diamond league currently, only two were affected and both are from beta.

    As for rune sub-stats difference, we apologize for not making it clear in previous patch notes. We only mentioned a global reduction of rune effectiveness but we didn't deliver the message about why we did it. So let's make it clear here: The purpose was to create a relatively healthy environment for new players to play competitively as new rune upgrades could potentially produce better results. This applies to all rune upgrades and to all players. There is no difference between beta players and new players regarding this.

     

    So to all beta players, you are still way ahead of new players in terms of progression and you are treated equally with new players for any features or content in the game.

    We care about our community and we ban cheaters and exploiters on a daily basis to keep it healthy. We can assure you currently all top players have earned their way there one way or another. The previous system glitch may help some a bit but only in a small magnitude. They did good mostly due to their own efforts. Hopefully this is useful information to you.

    Developer already fix that case.But i dont think so if they will adjust those overpower from the player who already upgrade their runes.those runes will be forever legendary.

    Don’t put developers on a pedestal, their resolution is bad for the game no matter how many they claim benefited from it.

    1. The biggest difference between players comes down to the type of runes we own. Leaving super runes in the game no longer makes it fair anymore regardless of how small the people who have it are.

    2. They make it sound like beta players somehow benefitted from being beta players. Beta players spent the same amount of money (and probably a lot more) and time through all the bugs and should not be treated like that.

    3. I find it odd that they didn’t even notice players having over 200k power and something was off until a “beta” player pointed it out. Then their resolution was on well suck it up

    I hear the side of the stories from dev, to be fair to new players. For them to catch up etc.
    I did not disagreed but I felt that Dev should in the beginning highlight to us and not just keep quiet till we found out ourselves.

    As I had highlighted previously, many of us had spend hundred million coins invested in runes before global launch. Every 500k coins is 900gem. Easily 18k gem is spend just on runes not even including the other gems used to buy food to farm them.

    And for those ftp players, thinking that they will do great after investing and making lvl 13 runes but just found out that their so call max runes are only 80%.

    Making 5* heroes is just a matter of time, but farming and maxing good runes is not an easy task in this game.

    Coins are essential and important tools in this game other than gem. And for ftp players it’s a Big Bang on them.

    Is there anyway Dev can do to help these players. I’m crying out for them.

    For those player reading this.u guys judge if this is fair.we have copy of this runes are exist, there few players who have this legendary runes.i give you this example. Critical rune 3 doted max lvl13 16.2%. 3 mini stat 1st mini stat penetration 40.5 flat rate next mini critical damage 10.1%.Next mini another penetration % 17.6%. Now tell me guys is this is normal? This is only one rune take note. Every hero has 6 runes so they have 30 legendary runes,compare yours is this fair? We saw this runes not from new player they are also beta players.you dev say we are beta player what happen to the new players who want to invest? Can they still achieve this kind of runes? i dont.think so coz you already adjust it. This no joke guys we have every single copy of this runes.

    We managed to reach out the two players who benefited from this glitch and they both were kind enough to let us reset their runes with some compensation. As of today none of the players in diamond league has been affected by the glitch and with the fix it's unlikely it will have further impact to game balance.

    Until now this issue still the same.legendary runes still there.i though developer did something about this..
