    I think melee unit need to boost next update.im planning to use mayar and thallasa before but now mayar was nerf there is no chance to cut the armor of tanks.melee unit need atleast same attack power with the artillery to be balance.next their speed movement must be higher than the artillery that should be normal in any battle fields.after melee unit kill the tank he.need to.move just to hit the range unit what can u expect he or she die before he can touch it. If u are melee user and waiting are def for flanking is no use, coz almost player consider the backdoor attack or flanking attack. Pls give some shine to the melee hero.especially barius,thallasa and nestor.or make another legendary hero with melee attack.

    Sekhmeta could work as a good magical melee if put the right runes on her. I did so for couple of month and she didn't fail me.

    Well I don't know that much about melee attackers, but I do like to use them.

    The current battle system only provides a one hit flanking bonus to each hero flanked.

    Going against a tank I don't know why each attack is not a flank, it's not like the tank turns to defend against more attacks, they stay forward to continue their attack against the first hero.

    Going against artillery if every attack is a flank they will die in 2-3 hits if they don't turn to attack the flanker which they do sometimes. If going head to head vs artillery the artillery gets first hit but usually attacks slower.

    Another pet peeve is when heroes run out of bounds and just sit there and don't come back in or take a long time to figure out where to go. This happens a lot especially when the guys using buffed cannons hide behind towers on the edge of the board.

    Flanking does give players some extra and special pleasures. I like it too but I will not be surprised if it's not popular or become the mainstream. 2 main reasons, i. melee can not make ranged attack,
    ii. A well-established defense deployment will try to minimize the risk of being flanked.

    Melees should have superior damage (or atleast the same) than artilleries since it's not easy to flank a very good defense. Melees are not just supposed to flank artilleries. Hope they can attack tanks too equally to artilleries

    Melee's punish weak defenses. Having strong melee that works against a strong defense would cause imbalance in the game I think.

    Yep. It's imbalance already. Only few now using melee. Have you seen one using flanker in top rank? Right now i only see a bee lol.

    Of course u can not see flanking in top rank, coz players who got flanked couldn't reach the top. Lol
